Hi guys,
My client is about to launching an e-commerce site in December / January.
Domain has been purchased, but as the site is not yet made, it obviously isn't being hosted.
They have a corporate website, which I currently work on and get decent results for.
Im wondering, should i begin the link building process now and just point to the new domain, despite it not having hosting, or should i create a page on their corporate website, build links to that, and then 301 redirect that page to the new e-commerce site when it goes live?

Redirect it to a Higher PR site (PR 9/10). Meanwhile if a PR Update happens, you may get some PR. Its not guaranteed, but its happens sometime. So, you can Try your Luck!
You may also perform Link building, no matter if the domain is not hosted yet!
You will get the profit when it comes live!
