Is Bing worth of our time?

I've been jumping through hoops with Bing for a couple of months now and they have sent me zero traffic.

Now they say they want me to submit a site map and I don't know how?

Will they even send me traffic? Does anybody get traffic from Bing?

Is it worth the effort to submit a site map?

I do not think that Bing is really worth it because whenever I try to even search something basic on Bing it never gives me any good answers. So I do not feel that Bing will do us any good when promoting our websites on it. I think that our best bet is on Yahoo & Google.

Bing is just another search engine that tries to keep up with Google. Personally I think that Google will give you a much wider range of searches due to the fact that a lot of people use Google. Therefore, I don't think Bing is as good as Google.

I too get few searches to my blog from Bing. But I didn't know about the sitemap submission. I need some more traffic than just improving my pagerank. Anyway I wonder why people use Bing still when they have much wider and quick search engine like Google.

Personally, I wouldn't even waste my time. Google is still the world's MOST popular search engine by far, while other search engine (including Bing) remain a distant second. You should focus your efforts on Google and leave Bing alone! Just my two cents

People still get traffic from bing. Maybe you are doing the wrong way. I'd suggest you search for tips on youtube. Make sure you get recent tips on it.

I see how people can reach the conclusion that Bing is a waste of time. Because Bing is not popular there is not a lot of information about how to use it. In general it also has less traffic. However I think like everything online, you need to find a niche that is popular on Bing. Normally when they are few people, online that's where your opportunity comes to make money. I would not give up on it. Keep looking for ways to get traffic from it. Search different niches and audiences from different Countries.

If you are talking about the SEO work that you have made on your site then you should also check the other search engines for the search list if your site is there or not. Take note that the results of SEO work is not instant and it may take a long time to see the effect. Just continue your SEO work and in due time the positive results will appear on the search list.
