Write the reason you're deleting this FAQ
Whenever I hear someone or see a website, say something about high quality leads, I tend to roll my eyes. The problem is that people are chasing these leads like it's the only thing that will bring in cash flow, which isn't the case. If you work on your products, services, and make sure your systems are set up to run flawlessly, then you'll bring in quality leads every single day.
If someone was chasing you down the street yelling, "Buy this from me!!!" would you run the other way? I know I would because that's a crazy person chasing me and I don't want what they're selling. This is basically what you're doing if you send a message to someone on Facebook, LinkedIn, or any other platform you frequent and pitch them a service without them showing interest. You're the crazy person in all this if you think that's something normal marketers do lol.
No one likes to be spammed
Like I mentioned above, you shouldn't be sending out dozens or hundreds of emails and messages to unwilling participants to your conversations. No one likes to get a random email with a pitch to buy your service they weren't looking for in the first place, so stop it now.
Spam is called that for a reason because no one likes it lol. Focus on your current leads, give them the best product or service possible, and you will be able to get positive reviews and referrals from them. The leads will come to you more and more over time.
People can see a pitch coming
I tend to delete 90% of my LinkedIn messages because they tend to be from people asking me to check out their website, look at their new cutting edge software, and most of the time it's garbage that is being pitched to me.
I can see a pitch coming by reading the first sentence or two of an email, and I know others can as well, so stop doing it.
Run some PPC ads and let people find you
If you want to bring in some additional leads, without being a crazy person, you can run some PPC campaigns and bring people to your website. Retarget them on Facebook and try to get them to sign up for your email list. These are the tactical ways of staying on someone's radar because they aren't being spammed and you aren't looking eager to bring them on board.
Try retargeting and listing building/email marketing, and you will notice that people eventually turn into a customer after a few visits
Build your brand
Instead of chasing someone down the street and trying to get them to buy your products or services, why not focus on building your brand and get recognized as a leader within your industry? You can bring in hundreds or thousands of new leads each month if you are the leading authority on something, but this does take time, so be sure to have some patience.
Close leads like a Boss
You need to be confident when talking to people via email, chat, or even on the phone. You need to know all the questions someone is going to ask and know the detailed responses. If you can give a wealth of information to someone, give them a great price, and be a professional, then you'll see your leads closing easily. If you're not chasing people down, if they're coming to you, then it's easier to close them if you don't show that you're eager. Be a boss, close like a boss, and do boss stuff!
Final Thoughts,
Don't chase leads like a schoolboy that has a crush on the one girl in class because it never turns out well. Instead, be the cool kid in class and let people come to you! If you build an actual business and do the best you possibly can, you will gain more leads that turn into paying customers, and those customers will then refer friends and family members to you because of their phenomenal experience.
