Everyone is trying to make money online as a freelancer, but they never really know where to start. Well, it's a good thing you've landed on this discussion because I'm going to go over the four easiest ways to make money online as a freelancer!
The list below won't be much of a surprise to you because you've likely seen all of these jobs listed dozens of times today and hundreds of people bidding on them. Yes, it's a competitive market when targeting the easier positions because it means more people have the skill sets to perform them, meaning more people can do the same things as you, but that doesn't mean you should stop right now and give up with these four things.
Let's get into it!
Content Writing
I didn't want to list this as one of the top 4 ways for starting freelancers to make money, but it is one of the easiest since every website in the world needs content. Think about it, there are over a billion websites out there, and not all of them have content. It's essentially a gold mine if you know what to do and how to get in front of people. Luckily, you've found SEOclerks, and you can list your services here for free 
The downside of this freelance job is that you have to be good at what you're doing. You can't give a customer spun content and think they're going to be happy with it. You can't find a related article online and copy/paste it as your own and send it to a customer. You can't give a customer a jumble of words and think, "That's good enough!" because your work will instantly get rejected.
You still need to be good at what you do, even if it's easier than most jobs. Look at my service, I charge $25 for 500 words (I usually give the customer 1,000), and I get orders every week. My customers gladly pay the money, come back for multiple orders, and are happy with the results. Why? Because I'm good at what I do and I want my customers to have the best content possible for their websites, blogs, press releases, etc.
SEO - Building Backlinks
Building links is easier now than it was 15 years ago when I started. You can set up some software, let it run, and BAM you have 1,000+ links in a few minutes. Sure, I could use Scrapebox and Xrumer back in my day to build a massive amount of links, but I don't use those anymore because they're outdated.
What you'll want to do is focus on higher quality links that software can't provide to you. It doesn't matter if you're posting ten high DA links for $100 because people will buy them if they're legitimate. If you give the person 15 high DA links, when they only ordered 10, they will always come back because they feel they're getting more value for their money and it only takes you another hour or so to do the additional work.
You will always have to over-deliver when it comes to building backlinks, but that's pretty standard if you want to be competitive in one of the most cutthroat industries out there.
Virtual Assistant
Almost anyone can do this for any language and get paid for it. If you can talk, you can be a VA (virtual assistant), and you can make a full-time income from this if you want to. There are services out there like tawk.to that bring in VAs to help them with their support systems for premium clients. I'm tempted to use one of their VAs to help with answering all of my incoming chats while I'm asleep, but I haven't gotten around to it lol.
Becoming a VA isn't as easy as it was back in the day so you'll likely want to target more prominent companies that are more of a VA talent pool and they place you when the jobs come in. You could always go out and look for your jobs, but if a website or company isn't looking to hire someone, they won't bring you on board because there's no reason too.
Data Entry
I'm sure you've come across this type of job hundreds of times when browsing digital marketplaces. That's because it's one of the easiest things to do online since it does not require any specific skills other than being able to type something. You will be typing all day and get paid for the data you've entered.
I've used data entry freelancers in the past to help me build email lists, contact businesses through their "Contact Us" forms and various other tasks that take up a lot of time but seem like they are bothersome. I don't use VAs anymore because the majority of tasks that I needed them for in the past are now automated by using specific software that does the job and costs much less per month.

The four easiest freelancer jobs you can apply yourself to make some money. You won't get rich right away, maybe never, but if you apply yourself correctly, you can make a nice income in the long run. The VA and Data Entry positions are getting slimmer as technology advances, so if you want to make some money, you should probably focus on content writing and building backlinks for your customers. Remember, you still need to be good at these things if you want to build up a massive amount of wealth over time. If you're not good, you won't get your work accepted, and that means you've just wasted time. We all know that time is money, so be good at what you're doing and make the most of it!
