A lot of people always ask how you can make money online, but in a majority of the cases they are just looking for the easiest ways to profit, and some of these methods below might actually fit those people who are technically lazy lol. It's not difficult to make money online, but it is difficult to keep pushing a technique or method if you're not profiting. Most of the time you're just doing something wrong, and it could be the slightest error in your approach, which can stop you from making a bunch of money online.
Below are a few things you can start to research if you want to make money online, and they are:
Try to do dropshipping
A lot of people get into drop shipping because they don't have their own products to sell online. If you don't know what drop shipping is, you're basically just selling other peoples products and they will label them as yours while they stay in the shadows and handle all of the shipping.
You're essentially going to be working with a wholesaler who is not focusing on shipping or sales generation, and they will do everything they can to have the best products and ship them quickly.
See what works with Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA)
Another direction to go in is working with FBA and having Amazon handle all of your shipping. You will need to find the right products to sell to people on Amazon, and this means you can do something similar to the drop shipping tactic by finding the right companies to work with and sell their inventory.
The only downside with doing FBA is you need to purchase all of the product up front and send them to Amazon in hopes they will sell. If they sell quick, that's great, but if they don't sell right away you will likely spend more money on space to store your inventory within an Amazon warehouse, and that's not something a successful business owner does. This is why you need to be sure your items will sell before you purchase them.
Sell digital products online
Selling a digital product isn't something new, there are actually thousands of people here that are making sales each and every day, and you can do the same as long as you're good at what you do.
If you don't know what you're doing in SEO, web design, programming, etc. then I would suggest you start learning the ropes before you start selling any sort of service like this online. After you do know what you're doing you can sell on digital marketplaces like this one, sell on your own website, and even generate some sales through Facebook if you have that set up just right
Become a virtual assistant (VA)
Almost everyone has the skills to be a virtual assistant, mainly because you just need to know how to type, and it's not difficult to do at all. Now, if you plan to strike it rich as a virtual assistant you're going to be quickly disappointed, and that's because a VA is usually someone that does a small task for a few bucks an hour at most.
VAs tend to come from lower-income countries like the Phillippines or India, so if you're from the US and think you're going to get paid $30 an hour then you're going to be a bit upset sooner rather than later lol.
Become an online consultant
Consulting is getting bigger and bigger each year because of how well it pays if you do it right. I've done consulting gigs that have paid thousands of dollars just to help someone get their website up and running. I showed them how to do everything from registering a domain to getting their first sales so they can do it all on their own for the rest of their life, and they were happy to pay me for my time.
As a consultant, you will need to know everything in detail about your industry, or you can try to do a fake it til you make it type deal, but knowing more before you start will always pay off in the end.
Become a writer if you can type well
One of the easiest ways to make money online, if you know how to type and have decent grammar, is to become a writer that does various tasks. You don't have to write up articles alone, you can also do copywriting and product descriptions for customers, and you can usually turn this into a full-time income over time if you're good enough at it.
I write articles for clients here and there, but it's not my main source of income, I mainly write the content to get my name out there in case anyone needs some extra work done I get paid a few bucks to write up an article, but it's more of a branding play on my part, because I'll always over deliver on my content and I will please one more person with each job that is successful
Become a remote employee
When I say "Remote Employee" I'm not talking about a VA who does little tasks. A remote employee is someone who is actually employed by a company but there isn't an office for you to go to. Now, you can work from home and do this because there isn't a physical location for the company or you can get a sweet deal and get a telecommuting job that allows you to stay home without going into the office. Either way, this is a pretty sweet gig if you can get your hands on it.
You'll need to apply to specific jobs that allow telecommuting, not every job has them, and hope you get the position you're aiming for.
In conclusion
There are thousands of ways you can actually make money online, but I decided to just cover the ones that can make you money today or tomorrow without a ton of time invested in the setup or lead generation. You can sell online and make money or you can sell offline and do the same, but selling online from the comfort of your own couch is much better than going into work, and that's why a lot of people prefer online to offline
