Can Someone With An Android Help Me?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have an android phone? If so could you please help me.

I used to own an android phone and I had Google's Text To Speech 3.0. I've recently seen some videos and I didn't understand how useful it was. I now only have an Iphone and Windows laptop. Is their anyway I can get Google's text to speech software on my laptop. Also do you know if you can download an mp3 file from the text to speech software. I would like it to read books outloud. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you Can Someone With An Android Help Me?

There are huge software are available within the google search engine whether you can make your laptop to an android device. At first go to google search engine and type convert your laptop to android device. Than download all necessary files from play store and make your operation successful.

Thanks
Centurion

Yeah I agree with you on that. Just google the applications you wanted and transfer it to your android phone. That easy procedures are very basic and you can do it by yourself.

I had tested the speech to text feature of my android phone and it was quite good although I don’t intend to use it regularly because of some issues. But this is the first time that I’ve heard of a text to speech feature which means the app or software can read the text and output it on the speaker. Maybe there are downloadable programs for the laptop and perhaps I will also try it just for testing.

Hi Centurion,

Thanks for the reply but many of them don't actually work :/ and if they do they will only convert games not the Google Tp Text Speech. It's so frustrating lol thanks for the reply though Can Someone With An Android Help Me?

Ahh I think you just have to download Google and it comes with the text to speech option. With regards to the MP3 download on Text to Speech, I think what you're trying to do is to use googles text to speech in reading ebooks. Why not just download a free E-book reader?

I use an Android phone and a Windows laptop and Google TTS is really helpful. However, I'm not sure if you download an mp3 file using TTS. With regards to installing Google TTS in your laptop, I've found several sites where you can download the free software but I'm not sure if it can read a book aloud.

I don't know if it's possible to get such software that would be able to work in your laptop. I don't know because I haven't actually thought about it until now, as the one I use in my android device is serving me well. But anyways, don't fret it, I'm going to look into it and see what I can come up with.

I do have android phone. Not sure if this is something can be done with google text to speech. But from what I have learned. I think dragon naturally speaking can do this better than google text to speech. So I'd recommend that to you.Because it seems like those tools are lot stronger and better in that context. Also there seems to be many other alternatives for this too.

overcast Dragon naturally speaking just puts words on a document through you speaking to it. I want the Google Text To Speech because they're some really high quality voices in there. 99% of the TTS software are free and sound terrible lol

It is going to be difficult to get such features on your laptop as some of the developers of those speech to text are always focused on the Android devices as this is what will make more downloads unlike what we see on the laptops.

I have come to notice that even the ones that promise that they will work won't give you the necessary features that you desire.

Well, I know for sure Microsoft Store has an app called Text to Speech TTS, you can download it and use it can read you any text. However, if it's expensive, try to get a VPN and look around in which country you can download it for free. If you have Windows 10, you can use what it's called Speech Recognition, you just use Cortana to guide you through and that's it.

One colleague in the office was enamored with the voice command of the smart phone. He downloaded some software into his laptop to mimic the ability of his smart phone. But after installing the programs, it wouldn’t work well. He said that maybe the microphone is not giving the software a very clear audio. In short, he failed to use the installed software. But maybe you can try because that experience was a long time ago.

Well, I guess it is possible, as long as your laptop has a microphone in it, I just don't know what particular product to suggest for you. You can really rely on google, its free and it can help you a lot.

Hey Mandy, Google's Text To Speech is indeed a very cool app! I thought I was one of the few people who were was really impressed by it. Did you manage to find a solution? I would be grateful if you could share it! I used to own an Android phone, but it unexpectedly broke down a couple of months after I purchased it. I didn't know about the existence of phone data recovery companies at the time, so I decided to buy an iPhone instead. I still miss many of the cool apps I had on my Samsung. I really appreciate any help you can provide!
