Selling lower priced items, anything under $50, is usually the best thing to do when you're starting off. This is because you can get more sales coming in and the profits from the legitimate sales will cover any chargebacks that you can't cover. You won't always win a chargeback because most of them go right through the banks, meaning you don't have much power over it.You can focus on other tasks and not product fulfillment
Since you're drop shipping, you don't have to worry about product fulfillment and shipping since you won't have any of the items in your hands. Since you don't have to worry about your items being shipped to the customer, you can focus on other aspects of your business like getting the sales rolling in I personally love dropshipping because it's like I'm partnering up with a large corporation that sells me their items at wholesale and I can mark them up to whatever I want. I currently sell an item for $5 and get it for $1, and I make a decent amount of sales just from this item. I've seen other people selling this very same item for $15 and making money, and that's a marketing opportunity for me since others mark up the price more than I do I can say "Other companies sell this very same item for 3 times what we do on our website, so stick with us and save more money!" There are plenty of people making a killing when it comes to dropshipping, and there are also a lot of people who aren't making anything. You will need to do your keyword and market research before jumping into a niche. If you don't, you will likely pick a niche where other people had the same idea as you and it will likely be difficult to crack and make money. Since you don't have to worry about your own inventory, dropshipping is usually a great thing to get into if you want to be seen as an authority.
