Chatbots are here to stay, get use to it!
If you've been living under a rock, or just haven't read up on the latest trends, you aren't familiar with what chatbots are. Basically these are bots that can send canned responses to your inquiries while you're away. Think of the power these little bots hold when it comes to client satisfaction rates. You have a little script responding to your potential clients and buyers with detailed answers while you're away so you don't lose any leads, sales, clients, etc. Someone will ask a question and expect an answer fairly quick, if you don't get back to them right away, they will leave for your competitors. With the chat bot, there is a quick response in order to keep the visitor interested and gives you time to get online if you're not already
These bots are getting made for almost every type of chat system whether it be on your own website or even through your Facebook page. They're pretty easy to set up because of how user friendly the programming behind them is done.

You need to think mobile
There are platforms like Snapchat and Instagram that require you to have a smartphone in order to access them. Snapchat is 100% mobile but Instagram allows you to log in through a desktop or laptop, but not many people do since it's revolved around a mobile app anyway. Facebook generates the majority of it's revenue via mobile devices, a whopping 84% according to some studies! This clearly shows that social media platforms are getting a huge amount of mobile traffic from it's users, and you should be capitalizing on that.
Think of this trend switch for a second... Facebook was originally designed for desktops and laptops but is not getting the majority of it's traffic through mobile devices. Facebook is very user friendly for anyone on a mobile device, and this is the main reason it's becoming more of a mobile app than an actual website. Sure, it will stay up and running as a massive website because it's the smart thing to do, but it's pretty much a mobile app ran on everyone's smart phone lol
Everyone is going mobile and the trend doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon, so start capitalizing on mobile traffic and thank me later
Don't remove platforms from your rotation because they're similar
We all know that Facebook copied Snapchat with some of their most recent updates, but that doesn't mean you should remove one or the other from your campaigns. Sure, they may look similar in ways and work the same when it comes to specific features, but that doesn't mean you should stop working with one of them. Think of the reach each platform has and the devoted following, they're completely different at times. The majority of people who use SnapChat may not use Facebook and vice versa.
By removing a social media platform from your campaigns because of similarities to another, you're just reducing your reach and that means less potential to make money online.

Oh, by the way, regarding mobiles, yes, of course, mobiles are the wave of the future with probably half of all website visitors using them. In that case, it's sink or swim. I can see why chatbots would get a better ROI than simply putting out an email link. In fact, it might be a good addition to my hosting business, though, not my hosting forum. Anyway, I'm wondering if these scripts are free, paid, or both.
