How to make a website user friendly?

I am going to launch a logo service website and make it user friendly, so that customers can find my products without any difficulty. I want some suggestions from experts here, so that following which so that I can make an user friendly website. I am quite confused about this.

To make a website user friendly, recently the people has been using a cloud server which is super fast for any website. Website domain name should need to be attractive. Than website logo should be design so that any one can order for logo easily. I mean website integration with eCommerce platform. If you create your website with WordPress than- for order processing woo commerce plug in is best. The website will be looking gorgeous if you use HD pictures. By selecting attractive domain and by taking a good hosting server will give you nice website speed. Than by select a good theme from theme forest and implementation of woo commerce with your WordPress will make you happy.

The site navigation is I think what is important for a website to be user friendly. There is nothing more frustrating than going to a site while having something in your mind that you are looking for but cannot find it because the site navigation is bad. A good idea is to have good site maps and cookie crumbs so that the user can navigate to the top page or subsection easily. Also, organizing the websites such that products can be grouped easily and searched easily is also a good way to make a website more navigable.

I think you have to think in terms of the customer friendly and responsive design. You can have lot better conversion if you can keep the responsive design in mind. This way your design is going to be more of user friendly. I have found that most of the retina friendly and responsive design friendly can do lot better with the design. I think in case of the examples, see what your competitors are doing and implement those features. That way you'd learn what to do and what to skip.

Make sure it is clutter free nobody likes a site which is "In your face" for example. Make your points clear and what members can gain out of your services. Like what kind of logo's will you offer, Website/blog logo's to banners or transparent logo's.

My eyes get strained when the background color of a website is very dark. I don’t feel comfortable with the contrasting color of black with any other color and I usually do not pursue my intention on such a website. In fact, one personal friend had invited me to his new site with a black background that I was turned off and I messaged my friend that I wouldn’t subscribe to his site due to poor design. He seemed annoyed by my comment.

I do not like visiting website that uses dark colors or unusually bright colors. I also do not like to use dark or loud colors on my websites. If your website is primarily a content site where you want the readers to read, using white as background color and black as text color is the best way to retain the users. SEOCLerk is the best example on how a website should be.

Well for starters you need to establish a good design. As others have said in multiple discussions here, webdesign is an extremely important factor when it comes to attracting and keeping users. You want to have a site that feels open and welcoming with proper choices in color combinations, typography, and formatting.

The ability to easily navigate is key as well when trying to sell products. Give your customers the option to control categorization and filters so that they can easily find what they are looking for. Thanks for your query. I would like to say it is depend on many factors. But, for making user friendly website, you must to concentrate on site speed. It is first and pre-condition. Server speed also very much need for SEO factor. If your site speed slow or if your site response slow, user should go away. That concentrate on net and clean front end interface for your site. And make easy to access to any feature by easy navigation. Menu bar should be clear to understand for user. Use simple header and footer also.

I always look out for 3 thing when it comes to user friendly websites, and that is
1. The ease of navigation
2. Pageload time
3. Page structuring
every other thing is just added value. It is important for your website to be user friendly to avoid users leaving your site immediatly they come in and also help in reducing your bounce rates too.

I think the first step is simply to assess the profile of your audience. In general terms, the well organized website with strategically positioned menus and submenus, and organized content with subtitles and quality images are also very important factors.

I agree with your opinion, honestly I am having a website with more colors and when I asked reviews on forums then more people didn't like it and they wanted to suggest to use less colors and lighter colors. I am considering this to make my website design better.

A tag system would work nicely. I've seen a lot of websites with terrible tags, so when you search for a specific keyword, irrelevant results come out. Aside from that, keep the UI simplistic and with the right amount of buttons only. Don't have too many to look complicated, and don't have too little to look like there's barely anything that the site offers.

For me, user friendly for a website means the user does not need to think very hard in order to navigate or to find a specific function. First is the design of the homepage, that compact homepages are the best, short and consice. Scrolling down for a kilometer, so to speak, gives the user a hard time. And aside from the menu, the miscellaneous functions should be visible in the homepage like the FAQ, contact, and of course, the login and register buttons. The color combination is also one of my concerns because I get irritated with so bright colors and also with very dark themes.

All suggestions in this thread are quite helpful, and I myself have learned a few tips from some of them.

I would like to add, that you might also want to look into the usage profile of the type of users that you are targeting with your website. Like, more advanced users with a lot of experience working with different types of websites might be harder to please, but so do beginning users whose requirements are simple, but they don't quite know how to express their requirements. Or there might also be a class of users who you wouldn't mind if they find your website difficult to use. Just a reminder, of course, that you can't make all people happy. You just need to identify which users you should be making happy.

Let the titles be attractive i.e catchy
