If you think you know what your customers want to read you are wrong! And basically, you are making the first mistake of any starting SEO content writer, not analyzing and interpreting ALL the data available out there.
For any niche, there is a huge amount of available data, you just need to access it, gather it, organize it and interpret it to draw some main conclusions and only then start writing your content. This is what intelligently written content is all about, the overall understanding of what the user intent is in your niche, what is their main desire and through which "purchasing tunnel" they need to use for an actual conversion o take place.
So, how do you gather all this information?
1. By using already available tools like and techniques like keyword research, popularity research, competitors research, persona research, etc.
2. By analyzing your own data! On of the biggest mistakes any SEO content creator makes is not analyzing your own data once your article was published. If you future analyze things like SERPs positions, click through, user engagement and user interaction you will gain hugely important data that can drastically help you to improve the same piece of content or to develop superior content.
