Everyone has marketed their websites, but how many of you have used white board videos? I love using white board videos for anything from video marketing to pulling in random backlinks from dozens of websites that don't normally see them Creating a white board video can be difficult and time consuming if you don't know what you're doing but don't worry. You can hire plenty of people here on SEOclerks.com to do a white board video for you so don't worry about that too much.
What are they good for?
White board videos are good for ANY type of website and it's marketing campaign. These videos can be so diverse because of all the options that you can use when creating them, or having them created for you. Your niche or budget doesn't matter much since the creator can add a character here and there as well as text to specify what the video is about. And since the services to create these types of videos are so wide spread, the pricing for them has dropped a lot since they first came out.
I like using whiteboard videos for my marketing campaigns. I will have them created, or make them myself, in order to upload to video hosting websites like vimeo and youtube just so I can get a link on those sites. The beauty of this is that you can embed these videos on your own website while getting an SEO boost from where the video is actually hosted. Even if you're not going to use a video hosting platform other than YouTube, you should still upload your whiteboard video wherever you can because backlinks are always nice to increase.
Uploading your videos to loads of video hosting websites will help your SEO due to all the backlinks, but that's not all. You can use these newly created video pages as parasites (that's good) and build backlinks at them. This is where you pyramid the parasite, which is always a great way to increase your rankings across the board If you have your video uploaded to 20 different platforms and all of them have different titles and descriptions as well as a pyramid linking campaign for each, you will notice a good jump in the SERPs
How can I get a whiteboard video made?
Well that's easy, right here on SEOclerks.com silly! Here is a good search to find quality whiteboard video services: https://www.seoclerks.com/search/whiteboard?s=bm I've sorted them based on Likes which means the top ones will be services that have already been tested by other members and given a positive review.
Purchasing a whiteboard video tends to be pretty cheap ranging from $1 to $50. Usually the $1 videos are going to be pretty short and you'll have to purchase upgrades in order to increase the length, so they will actually come out to be a $5 video. The $50 videos can be overrated and the user just wants to make a lot of money for a little amount of work. If the user has a short description in their service then you have to assume they aren't going to invest much time into your order, right? If a seller has a load of example videos along with loads of positive feedback, you should probably pay a little more for the service if it's listed higher than you're willing to pay. I say to pay a little more because you only need one video in order to embed it on your website and also post it around the internet.
Making your own white board videos
Now if you're thinking about making your own white board video you can always look up some software in order to do so. I've found a few that range from $37 a month to $57 for the year. Each piece of software will have a unique twist on what they're selling, but most of them will do the trick so look for the cheapest one you can find
A lot of people who start making their own videos for personal reasons will eventually make some for friends and then sell it as a service because they're getting so good at it. If you go this route you can actually purchase packets to upload into your software, if your software allows it, and expand on the templates that came with it when you paid. Increasing the images and fonts count for your software will only make you more detailed and people will love this. I was talking to a friend yesterday, which is what inspired me to post this discussion, and when he's advertising his services he can easily make $30 to $60 an hour due to how high of a quality his videos are. He's gotten so use to his software that he can churn out a 5 to 10 minute video in a short amount of time and send it to the buyer for review. He doesn't usually sell on freelancer websites because he charges more than $5, but he does have services up on these platforms and makes a few sales a month. He focuses on the higher profit per video and focuses on getting bigger fish than the $1 to $5 minnows who want a 1 to 3 minute video
In Conclusion:
If you're thinking of getting a white board video made for your website I would definitely do it. Stop thinking and go to the link I posted above and find the right freelancer for you. It's a low cost way to start some video marketing and you can always get a benefit through SEO by placing links in the videos description and then pyramid linking the videos. If you get good enough you can even sell it as a service and make a full time income

Upload all of these on youtube and link back to my blog for a full article and text content explanation.
I love whiteboard videos ever since I saw Rand Fishkin from Moz and with his whiteboard Friday videos and I instantly become a fan. I was actually planning to start some sort of whiteboard videos myself for my own SEO blog. I was thinking maybe I should have like 100 videos on simple SEO explanations, no more than 2-3 minutes each where I can explain people stuff. Upload all of these on youtube and link back to my blog for a full article and text content explanation.
