Now most people will post something positive, but I'm going to cover the top 5 horrible reasons to start working online. All the time you see top reasons of something positive, but you never hear about the negatives. I'm here to shed some light on why you shouldn't start working online. This might not be what you think it's about, but hopefully you're in a place to work online and be great at something you're focused on
Reason 1: Need Money Now
So many times have I seen someone post on a forum or blog saying that they need to make $X,XXX in XX days to pay off a bill and I want to just reach through the monitor and give them a hug while saying "It won't happen". I can't tell you that it's going to be ok, but I can tell you that there's a 99.9% chance that you will not make enough to pay off your car loan, mortgage, water bill, child support, etc. Working online takes time and you won't be rich overnight, like how a lot of Gurus want you to think. Setting up a website and configuring it so it's a well tuned profit machine takes time, and not 1 to 2 weeks, I'm talking about 6+ months of tweaking. Yes you can make money quickly online, but if you go into this knowing you need $X,XXX to pay off a bill each month, then you're going to be mad if you only make $XXX per month from you website.
Reason 2: Need A Job
If you go into online marketing thinking you're going to make enough to cover your 40 hour a week job you just got fired from, you're mistaken. I was working online for a while and working 40 hours a week at the same time. I got laid off and then went into online marketing super full time, like 60+ hours a week, and I still didn't profit for a while. Luckily I was still living at home and didn't have to pay rent (Thanks Mom!) but I was growing up and I wanted to move out so I have to make something work. Now my mom would still want me at home today if I needed a place to stay, but that's just how mothers are lol. Going into online marketing because you need a job isn't a great idea because it takes time to be profitable. You can follow every technique, method, system, etc. and it may not pan out.
Reason 3: Want To Be Rich
Well I'm going to stop you right here, if you want to be rich working online, you might as well play the lottery because you'll have better chances lol. I guess the term "rich" depends on how much money you need to make for that label to be accurate. Maybe you need to make $1,000 a month to be rich, then online marketing may be your route to riches. But if you need to make $500,000 a year to consider yourself rich, then you're in the wrong industry. There are plenty of people making that amount of money each year, but statistically it's about 0.01% of online marketers lol.
Reason 4: I Want To Work Less
Well if you become an online marketer you'll actually be working more than if you had a 9 to 5 job. The reason you'll be working more is because you're the boss. And if you end up not working as much, you'll say that there's no way to make money online lol. The successful online marketers will say you work more for less money in order to not answer to a boss, which is spot on. I work 60+ hours a week and I make enough money to pay my bills and go on a vacation once in a while, but most of my money goes back into making more money lol. If I made $500,000 a year I would be putting $400,000 of that into research and development and also PPC campaigns. I learned early on that you can't put all your eggs in one basket and you must diversify your online portfolio in order to have multiple revenue streams.
Reason 5: It's Easy To Do
This makes me literally LOL I've heard people trying to get into online marketing because they saw some "guru" say how easy it was to make $1,000 a day with 1 hour a week invested in their system lmao. Working online for yourself is not easy at all, in fact it's one of the most difficult jobs I've ever had because I have to do everything myself. If something doesn't get done I can't point a finger at someone not doing their job, because it's me not finishing it. I can work 60+ hours a week and make the same amount as someone working 30 hours a week getting paid minimum wage. Now I do make a decent amount of money, but I've been doing this for a loooooonnnngggg time. When I started out it wasn't all riches and b*tches on my arm, it was long hours and low profits trying to set something up that had potential to profit.
In conclusion, if you're not willing to sit down for 10 hours a day working behind a computer in the beginning, then working online just isn't for you. My longest work day was 22 hours because I had black curtains, a 24 pack of mountain dew, turned my phone off and nothing to do that day so I worked. I lost track of time and when I realized the sun was coming up I laughed. I don't remember if I even profited that day, but it helped lay the ground work for something that was profitable later on.

Because of the above reasons, they will easily think of how to make fast money because they want to be rich, want to replace their jobs, want to work less and want to be easy enough . Unfortunately, easy job and spend little time can just earn you a few cents a day and so cannot be rich. To be easy, joining hyip programs and invest your own money into the programs just to be scammed finally and lose all their investment.
For me, I only join for my leisure time like waiting people or travelling in a transport. In order to safe my time, I use it to participate on online world. I think many people are joining to the online business world as the reasons you mentioned above. However, if people join because of these, they will not be successful ever, even earning for a penny.
