What's your favourite cpanel app ?

The best one I use one of the cpanel services apps is softaculous not sure if anyone agree's with me . softaculous is a app with many free scripts which allows you to install on your domain and server.
It as many things for you to try like your own social network or forum, which I use the MyBB which is one of the top forum creators in my opinion. It also as many other scripts like wordpress , SMF forums and a lot more like SEO . This is a must check out for more information this is brilliant.

What is your favourite ? and why ?

Softaculous would also have to be my favourite. I wouldn't say I am not able to easily install software onto my domain on my own but sometimes you want less hassle and just want the software to be installed so you can get on with the more important stuff such as getting content on your site and advertising, it just makes things a lot easier and with so many apps available as well it leaves you with so many possibilities to create a great site. It's perfect for new people who are not fully familiar with installing certain software onto a domain and gives them a starter to be able to work towards learning more.

Yeah I agree , as there is so much to choose from on there like creating your own free forums. I have had more success with this its a lot better installing the scripts as well this way . Saves time and you don't have to use FTP to upload files and sort the whole Mysql database out as when You install the apps it sorts the database for you.

Actually, software can be uploaded with cPanel alone apart from using Softalicious. However, there is a little skill involved, but it's not difficult to do. Anyway, Softalicous is nice, but in the long run, webmasters are better off learning to install without it. Also, note that Softalicious won't install certain forum software, plug-ins, and themes, so that's another reason webmasters cannot depend on it. For instance, XenForo cannot be installed with it.

I mostly make use of the Mail server settings and the softaculous. Most of my work is around the mail settings. And with enough regular work, I think such cpanel can be handy. Softacullous is also very handy for the web scripts management. You can automate it too. Also it can upgrade the background scripts. So you don't have to do anything manually. I find this sort of feature really good.

I like SSL apps best, because it allows me to integrate SSL services into cPanel quickly.
Other than that, mail server is a great tool to manage my emails from my websites.
