Recently a colleague of mine showed me a post on an FB group made by the famous SEO guru Neil Patel posting WTBs (want to buy) posts claiming he wants to buy thousands of black hat based backlinks.
Truth be told I never liked the guy, read a lot of his articles but always consider he went over the tops on his claims plus he always had click bait headlines, never learned something of value from his posts.
This made me wonder, apart from the obvious subject of the SEO "guru" that buys backlinks on FB to cheat ranks, what other blackhat SEO communities are out there and how do you join a secret one?
I know a couple of popular forums and I won't listed them here, but are any of you active on such forums? Are there any secret communities?
How do I join such a community and what are the things I need to look after?
I've seen a dozen of sellers selling all sorts of "software" and tools that claim to automize a lot of SEO work, especially link building, but do these tools actually work in the real world? Are they worth buying? Because I've tried buying certain tools in the past and I always found you needed a lot more things, stuff like proxy lists, socks, etc.
My gut tells me few people will share stuff that actually works because no one is going to share a method or software that actually works with other people, I personally would keep it for myself, giving me the edge, if everyone is doing it then chances are that method will soon become useless.
What do you think? Are there any secret blackhat SEO communities out there?

One guy I know paid around $10,000 for a custom piece of SEO software which had every little detail in it that he could think of, which made it pretty amazing. Once the search engines began to fight back on the type of SEO he used the software for, he started up a membership website and was easily making $10,000 a month off of it for at least 3 years This falls into that saturated method field since it started to get harder and harder for him to use the software and make money off of it, so he sold it to people wanting to make money with it. He actually made more money selling the software as a membership and started paying a programmer to updated it all the time with new features to fight the search engines. It worked for a while, but it began to be too much work in the end and he eventually stopped it.
These secretive SEO mastermind groups do exist, I'm actually in a few that are free but they're invite only. I've seen forums where you can be considered a mastermind of SEO, but you have to pay like $50 to $150 a month just to be in there. I tried out a few of them, but the amount of people in there is very low and not much content is being pushed around because no one wants to give up their money making methods.
One of the skype groups that I'm pretty active in is actually a group that branched off of a bigger skype group which was basically a filtered group of the original. We have bout 50 people in it, 20 or so being active, and we bounce ideas off of each other in there and help out if we can. I actually got into amazon merch because I was talking to a friend in that group and he was helping me out with the entire process. I would have had no clue about it if it weren't for him I agree with you when you say that something being shared probably won't work because it's saturated, or soon to be. I know some people who make software for themselves, or a some sort of system, and once it gets outdated or of almost no use to them, they sell it to the masses who eagerly buy it up just because of the convincing sales page lol :D One guy I know paid around $10,000 for a custom piece of SEO software which had every little detail in it that he could think of, which made it pretty amazing.
