That's right! Google is making things even easier for use by creating and merging Google Calendar events with Google Maps.
Take a look at this:
So from now on, if you save a certain location tag in Google Calendar it will automatically appear on your Google maps and you have options for Google to set a driving course up to that specific location. You can even set your contacts on Google maps as well as making certain reservations along with labeling everything
I personally already have my home and work location saved on Google maps and I even get a parking notification every time I park my car, Google always shows me where the heck I left it so I can easily find it. If you are half asleep when you park your car at work in the morning this will make it easier to find it in a very crowded city.
What do you think about this brand new feature?

I wonder if there are any limitations like not being able to see something later than 30 days. I would see Google wanting people to pay for something where you could see further than 30 days, kind of like a premium service. But you never know, maybe Google just wants to help people out so that more and more people switch over to them, or don't leave lol
You should also be careful about setting your home and work locations. I say this because someone could steal your phone and go to your house and "borrow" all of your stuff without permission lol. I've heard people doing this at sporting events. They'll grabs someones phone when they aren't paying attention and the owner of the phone doesn't know anything is missing until the game is over. If the thief gets the phone early in the game then they can go onto google maps or their navigation and look for "Home" and start traveling towards it. Thieves will do this because they know exactly when you'll be leaving the stadium since they can just listen to the sporting event on the radio lol. Obviously the thief will most likely avoid your home if someone is there, but that's not always the case.
To avoid this from happening you should always make your home location an intersection near your house or even a small business or restaurant. My "home" location is the Greek restaurant 1 block away from my house lol. I changed it on my girlfriends phone too and she didn't realize if until she was on her way home from a friends house which was far away. When she got home she asked if I did this to trick her into thinking we moved into the restaurant lmao But after I explained it she understood completely Whaaaaat!!!! This is pretty awesome :D It's like presetting your Google maps so that when you need to go somewhere you can just click the location and it's ready to go :D I wonder if there are any limitations like not being able to see something later than 30 days.
