I was reading an ebook yesterday and one of the chapters was titles "White hat SEO hacks" and I kind of laughed. I laughed because the person who wrote the ebook was trying to make it seem like there was a secret method anyone could use in order to be white hat and increase your rankings fairly quick

There are plenty of ways you can increase your rankings legitimately, and this ebook covered a lot of them. But why would he push it like it was something new and unique? Because he wanted to make sales and sound like an authority lmao.


Anyway, there are some pretty clever ways to get an increase in the SERPs for your keywords, but I wouldn't consider them "hacks" lol.

One great way to help increase your rankings, that I've recently fell in love with again, is posting on question and answer websites like yahoo answers and quora. These websites are seen as super high authority, so if you can get a link to stick on them you're going to see a slight boost in the rankings over time. And the beauty of these types of links is that you're answering someones question and they're likely to come back and click through the link to see what you were talking about. No one will know you're doing a shameless self promotion except you Well, unless you name your profile after your website because that shows up on each post you make lol.

You'll have to rank up your profiles in order to post links, but it's worth it. Go around the question and answer platforms and answer questions with high quality responses. In time you'll be ranked up enough so that you can start posting links and they will stick

Another great thing from this is that you will get risidual traffic from anyone who reads the question and then sees your post, then clicks through. If your post is well laid out it could even get stuck just under the question as the top response
