I'm not a genius programmer to automate every aspect of my work but I do use automated scripts for certain things. Overall I prefer doing things manually, even pitching emails, I always do the manually, I love direct contact and not some plain old copy-paste template everybody uses.

I believe direct contact will always get better results than automated contact! Yes you can reach so much more people with automation, but I think the conversion per contact will be significantly higher with personal contact.

It would be great to have at least a part of my work done but in my case it is out of the question. As I am a writer it is not an option to have my content completed in any other way than having it written manually. The closest it can go in case of article writing is using a spinning software, and I am proud to say I never was interested in trying such a thing because no program or machine or whatever it is can replicate what a skilled human writer can do.

EliteWriter that what you do cannot in any way be automated. Content Writing is such an important skill and the human factor is vital.

Spun content is just awful and I think that although it may be quick and easy to do now it will serve hardly any purpose long term.

Well it really depends on what I'm trying to do. I love automation and it makes my life so much easier, but I only use it for certain things.

Websites: If I can automate a website to the point where all I have to do is set up an ad on adwords or push a banner on a niche related website and make sales, I'll all for it. I have a few websites like this and everything is automated, I just monitor the advertising and SEO for natural rankings that pull in sales. The back end is ran by a VA and the sales I make get drop shipped for me. I don't have to handle any emails, packaging, shipping, etc. and it runs without a hitch Do you like to automate your work?
SEO Campaigns: These I will automate to a certain point. I won't build all my links using software to automate everything because I want to avoid obtaining a penalty at all costs. Using a piece of software wrong can do much more damage than good in the long run if Google simply tweaks their search algorithm. I'll usually build all my first tier links, and some of my second tier links, manually and then I'll hit them with some SEO software that is designed to build a massive amount of high quality links. I won't use the software on my main pages because I don't want anything slipping past me and hurting my rankings. We're all human after all and we tend to make mistakes Do you like to automate your work?

Setting up systems to be automated is definitely a good thing whether it be with websites or a brick and mortar type business. You can't be doing everything on by yourself with your own hands and expect to be happy and successful in a quick amount of time Do you like to automate your work?

I like to automate as much as I can but there are really only so many things I can automate when I am a blogger. So things like my email marketing and my social media marketing are mostly automated. However when it comes to content writing and on-page seo this must all be done manually.

I think for anyone working online this would be the same thing, there will be a portion of your work that can be completely automated and then there will be other things that you need to do manually to have the best effect. Yes almost all of it can be automated, for example in stead of writing original blogs I can just spin someone else's content but this won't look good and it won't take me far.

So yes with SEO freelancing work I am sure most of it can be automated, but for instance for link building I believe it should be done manually otherwise you could be sitting with customers websites getting penalties.

I like both. Im in the medical field so there are somethings that automated is necessary and aslo somethings must be done manually. Like patient with heart problem, its a good thing that there is a device that you can put as implant to the heart. If there would be an impeding heart attack the device will automatically sends alert and in an inatant would deliver life saving defibrilation shock to the patients heart.

manual assessment of the patient is needed because on humans can see non verbal cues such as body movements and the likes

Hi Sanfora I would like to make my work automated but this is impossible! I must do my work manually there is no other way.
"which better bots or manually?" Well, this depends on the work we do, some would be better automated but some work results are better manually!

Yes! As much as possible, I try to automate my tasks; especially my posting to social media accounts. When you manually posts to social media it can be very time consuming. This is why I am very glad to have found so many services that help with this like Buffer, IFTTT, etc. The automated posting gives me time to perform other tasks like composing my blog posts, examining my websites and blogs for broken links, etc.

Whether I am marketing my services and products or doing SEO, I always do manually. I am against using bots to automate my work. Well bots might ease your work, for instance you can rewrite a 1000 word article under one minute if you use a spinning tool, however, manually spinning article, which might take 1-2 hours give you a better result.

Yes, automating my work will make it easier. But I have to admit that the only automation I can speak of now is the spread sheet where I can put in formula so when I input a number, it will be computed automatically and the answer portion will be filled up. Another feature is the sorting of the list contents. I am amazed with that because it is just like a flick of the finger and the data are instantly arranged in the desired sequence.
