Exploding Samsung Phones trending all over the net

Have you seen all the news about the exploding Samsung phones? It seems the Samsung Note 7 phones are at risk of the battery exploding while charging.

I just read that Samsung is recalling all these phones because there has been a huge amount of reports of phone batteries exploding and catching fire.

There have been 2.5 million manufactured and 1 million have been sold and Samsung are trying to recall all of these.

Damn that is going to be one tough job and not exactly what I would call a great PR moment for Samsung!

What have you heard about this?

Yes I have heard about this. I think that it is going to be very difficult to recall all those devices. Samsung used to be a very reputable brand but this is going to hurt them big time. I had a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone and the battery was the main problem with it as it got depleted really quickly. I also have a Samsung tablet which is giving me battery problems lately. Within 5 minutes of use it goes from 15% to just 3%. I guess I will soon need to replace it. I really think Samsung have a huge issue with their batteries!

Oh yes I think so too! I have a Samsung phone and I have to charge it every night. Which might be fine it I used it all day but really I hardly use it at all. I work from home so I use Skype, email and social media all day to be in contact with people.... so I have to charge a phone daily that I never even use. I once used the GPS and I couldn't even make a 2 hour trip...

Perhaps this Samsung Note 7 they were trying to improve the battery life and it is just too much so instead they just explode LOL.

Such as loss for the company, in fact a 900 million dollar loss to be exact, maybe more.. If they already sold 2 million devices and recalled half of them then goodness what a large loss. Not only is it a loss in profits, but it's also a loss in the stock market as well. You know when companies have recalls their stock drops like rain in a storm.

I'm not worried about this at all because I don't use Samsung phones, and I don't even have a cell phone. Now I would be worried if Apple products were to explode on me because I love using my Apple iPod. If that battery were to explode on me I would go directly to the Apple store and get a refund on my iPod. I hope all those consumers receive a refund for their faulty product. This is very alarming especially if one were to die because of it.. my goodness! Stay safe folks!

The latest news on this state that Samsung Note 7 is in deep trouble, at least in US, most carriers are stepping away from the Note 7.
This gives everyone a headache, nobody wants to deal with a problem phone. I think this may be the biggest fail Samsung ever had and if they won't going to do something to fix this mess fast, chances are they'll lose the status as main IPhone competitor.

Pretty sad actually as I'm a really big Samsung fan even though I have an LG at the moment, I was seriously considering buying the note 7 in 2017.

Oh wow, so this is like very serious! I wonder what will happen when Google brings out the Google Pixel phone? Maybe that will take the world by storm and Samsung will be lost?

I must say I just love the name Google Pixel for a phone!

I think quality control of many phones need to be done on regular basis. And the heat levels need to be checked. Many phones are designed in such ways that they do dissipate a lot of heat. I am sure that some of the people returned the handset but that just did not worked out for many. So I am guessing that in future samsung pays attention to all of this and works out on their quality.

I also hope there won't be many such cases come 2018. Samsung has been known to be a good brand. I hope the exploding cases never caused harm to anyone.

It will take sometime for Samsung to clear the bad reputation.

I think they have taken care of the quality control side. Though it's hard to say what may happen in near future. It seems like quality control stuff has it's set of the issues. And some of the time we have to think about all of this in advance. And have to avoid brand which fail the quality control test. That's what I have seen so far.

My phone is a Samsung J7 but I think it is not the phone with a questionable battery. My first Samsung is an SIII which had a problem with the charger. It wouldn’t charge the battery by itself so I had to buy an independent charger. I had to remove the battery from the phone to charge it. And when I had the money, I bought my present Samsung J7 and gave that old Samsung to my husband. I hope that exploding battery will not happen to us. We don’t charge the battery overnight.
