We've all heard them and seen them all over the place, social media marketing "tips" that are regurgitated time after time on blogs and in tutorials.
So I'm going to share a list of "tricks" that actually DON'T work, because your time is precious and you should focus on things that actually increase your website's value.
1. Hashtags - Are totally ineffective on Facebook and Google+. Of course, they may add some value on twitter but overusing them is a big mistake. The more hashtags you have, the fewer interactions you get.
The above stats makes me wonder if you actually get MORE interaction with no hashtags whatsoever.
Do you think hashtags benefit anyone? Do you get more interactions when having more hashtags or do you simply drop them altogether?

In fact I am sure using hashtags on FAcebook has occasionally had a negative impact instead of a positive one. This is an interesting topic Cristian. I use hashtags for my social media marketing. I don't go wild with it like I've seen a lot of people do. And I dont use hash tags in every post.
