Now that I manage my websites all on my own I can see how regularly Wordpress plugins conflict with each other and I have to say that it is a royal pain in the ass.
I recently ran into trouble with people not being able to comment or send in guest posts on my website. After posting the question here I figured out it was because my WPspamshield plugin was causing problems.
When I disabled that plugin I suddenly got spam bombed, which is really annoying! Now I have spent some time investigating new spam plugins and I am going with Antispam Bee... so far so good, now the spam is being blocked again.
I just have to say wow this is annoying! I have had problems with Yoast and other plugins conflicting before but then it was my webmaster's problem to try and figure it out..
Do you also get annoyed by conflicting plugins?

Yes, yoast has conflicted with a few of my plugins. One of the main plugins I use is for my contact forms, and yoast decided it hated that plugin so I then swapped out my contact forms and everything was working great
Now that I've been working online for a while I've figured out which plugins I like and which ones I despise. The ones I despise are still really good on their own, but they like to break other stuff on my website so I tend to not use them... ever.
One way to avoid this is to only purchase premium themes that come with a bunch of plugins already. The beauty of premium themes is that they usually, but not always, pick plugins that are friendly with each other and whatever you want to install. I have had problems with some premium themes and my additional plugins, but it's never as bad as if I used a free theme and installed all my own plugins. Were you using a free or custom coded theme for your wordpress website or were you useing a premium theme from a marketplace like themeforest or templatemonster? I've had this problem before. It's like you've finally found the best plugins that work for you and now they are fighting to be the best lmao.
