Should I cancel my order or not?

Should I cancel my order or not?

I placed an order for a service a few days back.

The service was to promote my link to millions of targeted Facebook users.

Now I have software to send out my content to Facebook groups but I can only do to about 40 groups a day at the moment so I thought let's give this a go right?

So I get a message first thing this morning saying my order is completed, and asking me to please mark it as completed and write a positive review. I go and check the link provided and my link has been shared in one Facebook group of 60 000 members, a group that I am already a member of too.

So I messaged the seller and just said no, this is not what was promised and I am sorely disappointed so please rectify this to match what was promised and then I will mark it as complete.

I have heard nothing. I don't like giving people negative feedback and I don't like to cancel an order.

I also don't like being ignored and being taken for an idiot.

What do you suggest I do? Should I wait till tomorrow morning? I guess it could be possible that the seller marked my order as completed and went to sleep because he could be in a different time zone... so maybe just maybe I am not being ignored.

But this kind of thing gets my goat.

Cancel the order and don't order anything like this again. Seriously. I've actually sold similar services myself.. About 3 years ago.

What I did was this:
1. Joined a bunch of various groups.
2. Sold "I will promote your url to 2 million FB users"
3. Shared my clients url in 10-15 different FB groups.

It's easy as 1,2,3 but you'll get absolutely nothing out of it as a client.. That's the reason I stopped selling it.
Copy / Paste is magnificent but in non-related groups it's just pure spam and it will most likely hurt you in the long run.

Cancel the order or accept it and give the seller a negative feedback for providing crappy services. It's that simple. Should I cancel my order or not?

Cheers,

Well 60,000 is only 940,000 short of 1,000,000 users lol Should I cancel my order or not?

Maybe the guy wrote up his service wrong, or he hasn't finished. But if you said he already submitted a link and claimed he finished, then something seems a bit shady here. Maybe he posted to that group 20 times and he thinks that counts as over a million, which is annoying but I've seen this happen.

Another thing that could be going on is that he hit hard times and can't share your links as much as he would like. But again, this is shady and he should have just told you that he couldn't fulfill the order because of limitations. I'm sure you would have understood what was going on and accepted a mutual cancellation if this happened.

Him not responding to you doesn't sit right with me. Normally when this happens it's because the seller knows they messed something up and they don't want to fix it or continue the job. I've seen people do this a lot actually and it's not right at all. They'll boast that they can get you in front of millions of people but when they don't and you call them out, they go MIA.

I would wait for a day since he could be in a different country and might actually be asleep right now. And he may not log in every day.

What's his average response time?
Does he have a good seller rating?
What do his reviews look like?

I don't mind when someone makes a mess of something! I previously placed an order with a young chap here and he couldn't fulfill the order as promised and he messaged me and told me straight. I asked if he could try something else I would like and he said he could and off he went and I marked the order as completed and gave him a recommendation for being on the ball and upfront with me.

His response time is actually not that great, he has a seller rating of 96.5% and he is a Level 3.

Oh well, you know what, I have so rarely had a bad experience here, so I will wait until tomorrow morning and if I have heard nothing I will cancel the order. He could be sleeping now and not seen my message.

Yesterday, I was discussing posting to multiple FB groups and found postcron.com. I have never used it so I cannot vouch for their platform. I would be careful trying to post to too many groups because you could find yourself in FB jail. Social media sites really don't like the automation being built to perform cron jobs because they can't sell a robot advertising, if you know what I mean. However, If you do use a posting system I would suggest that you try to make the posts as random as possible. I would also go very slow because you don't even want to show up on their radar with too many posts. The last thing you want is to get get banned.

Yes I totally agree with you there. I don't go too wild. Most I just use it to post my own content to my own social networks and I use it to find and join groups too. When it comes to mass posting to groups well I sometimes post up to 40 groups in a day but I don't do this too often. I prefer to buy a service for this to keep my accounts safe, hence the reason for buying this service.

Hi Danigo.

I use Mass Planner, they are really cool. You can find and join groups on complete autopilot and post to loads of groups. Give them a go, they are only $9.95 per month and you get to connect 2 profiles each for Facebok. Twitter LinkedIn, Google Plus, Pinterest and Instagram.

Just be careful because you can't break the rules of the social media platform, so don't send out too much content or you will get a slap.

Hi Lynne thanks for your question. As a buyer he/she has right to knowing everything before and after deliver order. And your seller promote your product less then described. It is meaning that misleading service And you already contacted with seller and seller yet not response. I think you have to wait few more days until seller response or you can contact with him by PM. Sometimes seller does not reach deliver order message. So private message may best option to contact with seller. If eventually seller will not response. I think before auto complete, you can reject order or take action what you think best for you.

I am sorry you have had this experience. Unfortunately not all sellers value the importance of being customer friendly and professional. I think that it sounds fishy that he delivered the order, and it was not complete in reality because he delivered only a small part of what was advertised in the service description. I would give it a day at most to give him time to reply, but if he does not get back to you contact support, let them know what happened and I assume you would be entitled to a refund. Let us know what happens, and I hope you will resolve it soon.

Thanks, I rejected the order this morning because that gave it a full day from the time he said it was complete and I sent a message saying I was not impressed with what I received.

I am not sure what I do now, does this automatically get refunded or do I have to contact support?

Ask for for a full refund. Period. No questions asked, the seller didn't delivered what it promised and you deserve a full refund.

And yes, if the seller doesn't accept you get automatically refunded in 2 days.
