Now I'm not going to go through and list 100 different websites that will pay you for writing. If I did that I would be here for days typing because of all the niches that I would have to cover. Even if I did the top 10, this would be an extremely long post lol
Now then, how can you make money writing? (you'll actually be typing)
I'll use snowboarding as an example niche because I can shred like Shaun White not really
Just so you know, you will get rejected... A LOT. but don't let that get you down.
What you'll do is pretty simple. Go to Google and typing in "snowboard blogs" or "snowboard websites" or something similar. If you're searching for snowboarding websites, make sure they have a blog.
Get a large list of websites, maybe around 100 or so to start. You can use software to do this in a fraction of the time, but if you don't have access to something like scrapebox, you'll have to do it manually.
After you have your list, you'll have to figure out how to convince them to hire you as a writer. Yeah, you're just going to email all of these websites. Think of it as applying for a job, but you don't know who is looking to hire lol Write up a convincing "application" and send it through their Contact Us page or email they provide as a contact. Normally the Contact Us forms will go directly to their inbox rather than sending a random email to their support email.
In the message you should contain a sample of your writing, a link to where you already write will look better because they can see what you've already done for other websites. If you don't have anything online already, just attach some content you've written up specifically for them. Having work that is publicly viewable already is better than attaching a file.
You can actually automate the contact form submission process using software You'll need to find a good piece of software to do this though. The one I've been using seems to break and only get a few messages through. And sometimes when the message does get through it is a blank submission and people respond back only to ask what I was trying to send
If you have 100+ messages going out, you should get 1-10 responses if you're lucky. I try to think of it as 1 per 100 sent will respond. You probably won't get the rates you want, but you have to look at this as you're entering at the ground floor and once you prove your skills you can get a pay raise
So go out there and find some work
