10 Amazing and Scary Ways Technology (and government) is spying on you now

Technology can enrich our lives in amazing ways, enabling us to do things never before dreamed possible.
On the downside, it can also be used to track, monitor and potentially control us (as individuals or society).

Do you feel comfortable with this idea? Does this kind of activity make 'us' all safer.

I'm going to apply my tin foil hat, because if the governments are watching us, so are the aliens! I actually don't care if big brother, or big momma is watching me. It makes me feel so protected, and boosts my self esteem knowing that someone is always on the look out for me, right? In the future, it is predicted that all your actions, no matter what you do will be recorded, and inputted into a database. This is actually already occurring, and there is basically no way to stop this, it's ever growing like a weed.

If this can stop future potential attacks, say terror attacks, then this is obviously a good measure. However, because I live in the United States of America, we have amendments and bills that are suppose to protect us from big brother, or big momma. Hopefully all these spy cameras are not violating such amendments, or bills.

I have nothing to fear or hide, so i could simply say, who cares if they watching me or us. BUT in other hand, we used to see (in movies and elsewhere) that criminals or terrorists are spayed on, tracked down and eventually arrested. So still makes me wandering what is exactly behind all this crap by spaying on all of us? I personally don't believe it's for our own good. What happen to privacy? Many times we are asked for permission if taxation office or someone else can have access to our personal life, while on the other side governments spaying on all of us without any permission. So... Makes me little uncomfortable to be honest, either i said i have nothing to hide. But why someone have to know how many coffees i had, where and with whom if i am not suspected for anything??? Truth about where is all this leading, is probably mystery....

I think any government officials spying on me should do some real work LOL. I have nothing interesting to be spying on at all.

Maybe some people feel that they are having their privacy invaded, but perhaps this is also making the world a safer place because they can keep tabs on criminals.

For me, that spying is probable because the technology of communications is so advance with the camera and microphone. However, I am not a bit scared if you say the government will be spying on me since I am an ordinary person and I have nothing to hide in terms of legal or illegal matters. In fact, I go for the proposal to have a National ID and I am wondering why people are protesting against it and saying that the ID system will be used by the government to control people.

I would like to think better about our security because there has been too much crime lately.

I agree, it also seems to me that it would help us a lot if the best fought crime because, for example, I am very worried about my property because it can be stolen or something bad can be done. I think it's worth paying attention to the alarms, and for example I really like Ajax because it really works great. Ajax can be easily extended with entry, fire and flood sensors, as well as relays for remote control of electrical appliances. You can purchase and add additional devices to the system separately. Detectors can be connected with a few taps in the mobile application.
