So I have been sick with a fever for the past 3 days. It goes up and down, but I am always so cold. Time to get to the doctor I would say. What do you do when you have a fever? How do you usually control it?

Don't be afraid to work out even when you are sick as exercise is a proven immune booster and will help your body rid itself of toxins. You can workout indoors in safety of a climate controlled area. This will be safer if you have a fever. Most importantly get rest to give your body time to naturally heal. See the doctor if your fever persists.

If a fever is that high, should you work out? Will it make it so you are easily fatigued? Any time I have had a fever, I get extremely tired.

From what I have heard, the taste is not very pleasant! And, really I don't care how effective it is, I'm not likely to try it. I think there would be other natural options that work better.

There is! I just came across this stuff, "Barlean's Olive Leaf complex". The liquid form. I've cured myself of bronchitis in under 24 hrs with it! I've used it on my kids anytime they get the sniffles. Everything I have tested it with, it has cured in about 24-48 hrs. By 24hrs you feel 90%.
The key is the ORAC rating being 7600, making it the strongest anti oxidant on the market! The best part, it's all natural

wow! That is amazing! And, you know I had the worst case of bronchitis this past November. I was in SO much pain. It was insane. I could not stop coughing, my ribs hurt on both sides and OTC meds just made it worse. (I always have a bad reaction to OTC meds anyway).
I am seriously going to find out where this stuff is sold and add it to my medicine cabinet. Thank you so much!

Push the fluids, and get tons of sleep. My mom used to swear by gelatin water as well.

Beverly
I hope you are feeling better soon.
I got really sick back in November first with a cold and then bronchitis. And, though I had a lot of bad coughing I don't remember having a fever.
Usually I would just take a medicine that is designed to reduce fever.
Though I read somewhere that you can naturally reduce fever by adding baking soda (powder) to warm water tub and soaking in it.
I have not tried that idea but really the idea as a warm bath is always very relaxing anyway.
For sure if you are having chills, please go to the doctor, it could be viral.
Also to stay comfortable try hot tea, hot soup, anything that would heat you up from the inside out. aww! :/ I hope you are feeling better soon.
