Most free hosts do this which is why they are free. But if you pay for hosing then this should not happen at all, I would switch hosting services if this was the case. Who are you hosting with?

I have never used a host that does such a thing and never would. It takes no more than a dollar or two per month for good enough hosting to start off that would not contain any ads whatsoever. If you could not put even that dollar or two in per month for your website then you're unlikely to find your way to a marketplace like SEOClerks. If for whatever reason you really cannot put up a dollar or two then even most free hosts don't do this from what I know although I haven't looked at a free host in quite some years.

fortunatelly im using paid hosting, but when used freehosting, it was not that bad this 468x60 top banner.

I think you are using a free web hosting service. Remember one thing: nothing is free of cost in this world.
If your web host gives you hosting space for free, then they should use one or two ad banners on your webpages.

There are many host companies which do not require you to have their banners on your site. Just Google ad-free hosting and you will come up with some options.

Awhile ago, I saw a forum post that mentioned how getfreehost has ads free hosting. You could try that site, just Google it.

If your host does that you should be able to remove them using some code, If the host adds the ads at the end of your pages the easiest way to stop them doing so would be adding <?php die();?> at the end of your page source code if your host supports PHP.(I assume die() would work) ~Jake

Google "free hosting no ads" (without quotes) and you will find many free host, no ads options. This is very common now as many free hosting companies actually earn more money when you upgrade than by putting ads on your free site.

generally speaking, if you are using free hosting, your host will place ads on your website, however, if you are paying for hosting, the host will not place ads on your website. having said that there are some hosts that place ads on your website. These hosts are usually small hosting companies that are trying to increase their market presence.
