One of my forum members complained that she can't access my forum sometimes. I haven't noticed any down time around the time mentioned. But she says she has dynamic IP from her internet service provider. Just wondering if that could be the reason.
At that time, I was using SMF forum software, very buggy anyway. I don't own that forum anymore. :/ It was a world of headache but I really liked that place. As for that girl, I don't remember what the issue turned out to be or what we did to fix it. At some point she started accessing the forum via mobile device. I'm guessing her mobile device wasn't the issue as she could access her own forum via that device. This was several years back, i remember working it out, just don't remember how :D

so I don't think that could be the reason, it can be something else, maybe there is a bug in your forum, if the cause is dynamic ip, then even you cannot access your forum because even you have a dynamic ip......
my advice is , check your forum.... almost every one of us have dynamic ip addresses..... when we connect to internet, we get an ip address, but when we get disconnected and connect back, the ip could change... so I don't think that could be the reason, it can be something else, maybe there is a bug in your forum, if the cause is dynamic ip, then even you cannot access your forum because even you have a dynamic ip...... my advice is , check your forum....
