Facebook accounts being banned for placing ads

What if your account got suspended after starting a Facebook ad? Do you think this could happen?

I am not sure. Is it written anywhere in the TOS that this could happen?

Facebook ads go through a manual approval process so I wouldn't expect that you would get banned for simply placing any kind of ad. I could definitely be wrong though, maybe they would disable you from using ads if you continued to submit the same ad that was not being approved. I'm only guessing.

If they go through the process like Karoshio said then I doubt that you would be banned. they maybe send you message or something stating you can not do that? Not really sure.

I don't see that happening since most of the ads placed on Facebook follows some kind of manual review before they are being approved or disbanded. So, if any user is not following the rules, the ad will simply not be approved and nothing happens to his/her main account.

I have been seeing ads in Facebook being posted by my friends. They are mostly about the products that they are selling. And if those are not considered ads by Facebook, I don’t understand what is meant by ads in Facebook. Anyway, regarding those ads of my friends who are in drop shipping business, they have been doing that for years and although sometimes they are reported for spamming, they are already used to that issue. Now they try to post just once a day for the ads of their products.
