    Facebook tweaks news feed to include actual news

    Here's what Facebook has to say about this enhancement to their news feed

    People use Facebook to share and connect, including staying current on the latest news, whether it's about their favorite celebrity or what's happening in the world. We've noticed that people enjoy seeing articles on Facebook, and so we're now paying closer attention to what makes for high quality content, and how often articles are clicked on from News Feed on mobile. What this means is that you may start to notice links to articles a little more often (particularly on mobile).

    Would that be news such as you could get from CNN or other reputable source? If so, I would really be interested.

    Violet I agree that it has to be from a reputable source. If you do not have it from a source that you can count on, then you might not get correct info.

    I think that it is great that facebook is adding the news to their feeds. As long as it comes from a source that is worthy.

    I like this added feature. It will be nice to get some good news while I am surfing my page. Will I have to follow something to get it?

    This is a great feature that they have implemented. I like the idea of getting the news on there, bc news is something that I search for daily and it could make my life just that much easier.

    I would hope that it would come from a reputable source. Some of the news that is posted these days you just can not believe.

    This is a good development for it is going to make users get up-to-date news on happenings around the country and the world at large. I commend the Facebook team for trying to improve the services they offer to their users on a daily basis.
