Ask.com is a question answer site like yahoo answers. They had a big article about how they reverted.

It's been awhile since I used this site. Does anyone still use it? Or is it a thing of the past?

It seems to be similar to any search engine out there. The only difference is that they have this "question & answer" on the side which is related to the keyword you inputted.

This reminds me of the early days of the internet in our office. I was part of the team on the research and evaluation of the internet. The access was still very slow that it takes more than 30 second for a page to display in full. I was using Ask.com for searching. And there was even a contest of sorts that if you can ask a question that the search engine cannot answer then you win a prize. That was in 1999, if my memory serves me right. Until now there is Ask.com but I don’t think it is in the big league anymore.
