Ever wonder what it is like to fight spam if you do not have your own website. Today Matt Cutts gave the world a glimpse into what it is like to fight spam for Google. Matt has a video that explains his job and what he does day in and day out to fight spam. If you are interested in this, you should have a peak:

They want to have algorithm on human level, but it will never work unless they hire millions of people that will manually position all the websites in SERPs. Once they close the doors to a certain technique, another one comes alive. And once they close the door to 100 techniques, those of ancient methods from the past get opened up again. EMD shouldn't work, keyword stuffing shouldn't work, many of those shouldn't work and didn't, but they are working again.
All that anchor density and so on... I know a guy that has 5k people on his blog per day and he didn't create any backlinks to it at all, it is all 100% natural, but still his incoming anchors are mostly his main keyword at 70%. If you asked Matt Cutts about it, he'd say it's unnatural, but the owner of that blog didn't build any links to it, so it's a joke.
