What would you consider to be an acceptable bounce rate for an email list? And, what can you do if your emails are constantly bouncing or not reaching their target email destinations?

A bounce rate of one or two percent is perfectly normal for most email lists, though anything higher indicates problems. If you have high bounce rate, check with your email host provider to make sure they are trusted with email carriers. If not, then go with one like GetResponse that has a working relationship with all major email companies, including Gmail and rarely bounces.

Any rate more than 5% is a big loss because it will be like one is wasting his or her time which is apparent time wasting.

When once the emails are not getting to the targeted audience then the whole essence is defeated. So one must seek.out another better carrier.

I think click through rate is more important than the bounce. Because by default the bounce rate is going to be high with marketing channels. And for this reason people have to be pretty realistic about the email marketing. It's not something that they can get it done properly. Instead it is going to drain a lot of time too. So the bounce rate varies from one mail to another. Also anti spam caught rate needs to be checked as well. That's what I have learned.
