Hello!
There's tons of questions regarding the "bump your service" feature and if you actually benefit from this feature. I'm here to shed some light on this topic.
If you are serious about using your bumps you should probably try to do some research before using them. Try to figure out the best time to bump.
Ask yourself these questions:

Yes you are right but from my experience i would say BUMP has the major roles in sales. and the most important thing is POSITIVE REVIEW / RECOMMENDATION.
And last but not the list is service pricing
Suppose you have a service for $1 and also 100+ POSITIVE REVIEW on that service than you definitely get 3 to 4 sales a day on an average
If you have 5 services as the price of $1 and if have 100 review than you will definitely get 3*5 or 4*5 sales a day
and the most important thing is if you are providing a quality service with such price than you will definitely rock.
Thanks.

The best time for bumping is when most sellers from your category are less active (when they are not bumping their services). You need to spend several days to monitor the bumped services from your category to find when less services are bumped.

Thank you all, I appreciate it
Feel free to share your experience after using this method.
I can't say that I've noticed anything myself. However, I don't sell services in quantity so I believe a better person to verify this would be a provider of Social media services. They should have noticed something like this.

Yes you are right bump is the only and only way to get sales.
Yes no other way to beat BUMPs here
Note:
Bumps isn't the only thing that matters in order to get sales.
Appealing titles, correct descriptions and providing good services at affordable costs are more important. Using tags and putting your service into the right category would also be vital for sales. Offer money back guarantees are another factor that could play a huge role.
Great Advices and Excellent participate from all the active users, Nice Job Keep it up.

This is actually just half true. The bump feature is a super effective way to gain sales, if you use the bumps properly. That being said, there's still several other factors that plays a major role in this. Just like I stated within the first post:

I agreed & not denying other effective ways. I just voted BUMPs as the best way.

Hello,
My reply was more towards the other quoted reply, as it implied that bumps are the ONLY way to get sales. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
That said, I do agree with you. Bumps are clearly underrated. I see several sellers each day who's not using their bumps properly..

Hello,
This whole thread is about just that.. Finding the right time.
You'll have to do the work yourself. You can't depend on others to do it for you, and you cannot use your bumps at whatever time others are using theirs. You need to work hard, try things out, spend time and find the best time to use your bumps to get the best results for YOUR own services.
This tutorial should function as a guide to help you understand how and why to use your bumps.. WHEN to use them, is for you to figure out yourself by using them at different hours and keeping track of the results during each hour.

Hello,
Nice example! Think of it this way instead..
Making 5 sales a day from a service for $1 or having only 1 sale per day on a service for $5. What would you choose?
I know I would rather gain 1 sale per day and earn the same amount. Especially if I already got a decent amount of reviews. That said, having $1 and $2 services is a great way to build reputation. It's easier to sell something worth $1 instead of $10 so you could stack feedback & reputation by lowering your service cost and build reputation but it also involves more work handling 5 or 10 orders instead of only 1 or 2 of them.
As a level 1 seller you can't provide services for less than $5 so in case you're a seller and get 10 sales on a service for $5, you've already got yourself a couple of positive reviews, so there's actually no reason to start providing services for less than $5.. Lowering the price would equate in less profit but would also result in more reviews and feedback so it's an investment you as a seller need to think of.
Another thing to think of when it comes to lowering your service costs is that buyers can actually back away from your service because the price is TOO good. If you provide a service for $1 that your competitiors provides for $5 or even more than that makes potential clients wonder about the quality of your service. So all in all, think twice when you decide your cost. Don't sell yourself for cents and dimes if it involves work that's actually worth more than that..
Most providers of services for $1 and $2 usually provides social media services like twitter followers etc. They can provide this type of service because it involves tiny work for each order. Time is money and you need to set your prices accordingly.
