Is blogging your job?

I don't earn enough money off blogging to make it into a full time job. It has to be something done in spare time hours and only after everything else is done. Still, I try to focus on my blogging whenever possible as I know through consistent effort, it will pay off with income.

Will be soon I hope (opening a blog in February). Just need to find someone to regularly check it out and notify me of my grammar errors + write at least 10 articles before opening it.

And, do you get paid to write freelance blog articles? This would be an interesting way to earn money. I like blogging and writing anyway, why not get paid for it.

I'm the same way. I do it whenever I can. Between having an active 4 yr old, a part-time career and my other online work, it's proves to be difficult sometimes.

What I do is make a list of posts you want to make to your blog. Then when you feel up to it; pick one, do it, then cross it off the list. You'll eventually get there. I have several things to post about, making my list a bit lengthy, but at the end it gets done. It just takes more time.

In addition to that, when posts are more spanned out Google views it as growing naturally, which is great!

I recently started blogging online. I sell some products online and I usually blog about my products and a bit about how I make them. I have advertised my blog on social medias but I have not been able to attract that much viewers. My friend has a blog where she writes about her tasted recipes and she has been successful. I just hope that I will be successful too so that I can make blogging my part time job.

It is impossible to earn money online to cover up the decent pay of a full time job. Right now, I am a housewife, so blogging is alike a pocket money or spare change to have a cup of tea at the end of the month. So you can imagine how much I could earn per month, just enough to buy a cup of tea at the coffee shop, not Starbucks.

I have other things I'm doing apart from blogging, I know blogging can take a whole lot of time but sometimes it get bored doing just one thing,so one did to add some other things like what I'm doing now.

I have up to 4 sites that I work this way just to have varieties,ofcourse varieties are the spice of life.

At this early, I am doing an informal research on how tomake blogging my occupation. I will be retiring from my office job in 5 years and the only livelihood I know is freelancing in the internet. I know of several bloggers who have retired and doing a full time blogging for their income. And I think they are doing good although their niche is different from mine. My blog is about dogs and animals which I’m sure have many readers. And if I get to capture a good number of readers then I could probably earn a substantial amount every month like a replacement for my salary.

It is not my job per say. I do blogging as a means of pushing out those thoughts that I want to put in writing and by so doing, solving relationship issues of the visitors. I have a firm I work with offline, so blogging is just a part-time work to me.

Blogging is my job. I have been earning my living by writing and publishing online since 2012. I am a blogger based in nepal. The current USD to NPR exchange rate is 103. If I make $10 from an article, I will have 1030 Nepalese rupees. This amount can pay my monthly phone bills. If I am commissioned to write an ebook for $100, the money will buy me supplies for two weeks.

I admire your skills in writing because I know of very few writers whose job is blogging. Unless you become a popular blogger, you are courting hunger in that field. That’s what a veteran writer said to me. I am working in a bank and he said that I should not think of leaving my job for now. When I retire, that is the good timing to create a blog and see if it can sustain your expenses and serve as your livelihood. Honestly, I am scared of that prospect because what would happen if my blog will not earn?

Therefore, I decided to explore my freelancing career instead of joining a job market. A couple of years later, I discovered the possibilities of the world wide web. I began writing online.
