Do you use Adfly links?

Some companies like AdFly let you convert a regular link into one that earns money when clicked on. The link will take the user to an interstitial page where they see an ad before being allowed to click on the link to the destination page. Do you use Adfly or similar ads on your blog? And, if so, does it earn money?

Adfly links annoy me. I don't mind that the blogger or webmaster would earn a little money for the link. It's just the links open to a page that delay where I'm going and sometimes I just get annoyed and shut down the tab rather than continuing on. Selectively using this type of monetizing device is smart as you don't want to annoy your visitors beyond belief so they never return.

No, I don't even click on them because usually they are pure spam.

Do the ads pay if someone accidentally mouses over? Sometimes that happens to me, as my mouse is on the page, it hovers over a link and the ad plays. I've always wondered if the site owner is paid for that anyway even when I don't click.

This happens to me all the time. Sometimes I do not even think that I did anything and then it takes me to that page from the ad. Very annoying.

And, my computer is very slow anyway so if this happens to me, it takes a long time to get back to the page I was on. Do you use Adfly links?

Please don't use Adfly links. Not only are they annoying, they make a blog page look cheap and if I see them, then I will click away quickly.

Most software sites use Adfly (interstitial pages) to monetize the downloads. And, it can be very lucrative for those sites, assuming lots of daily downloads and visitors.

Adfly links can delay before coming up and that is the reason I don't find it cool using them while I'm blogging for it is going to frustrate some of my visitors and make them don't want to return to the blog site anytime soon.
