Do you move threads on your forum?

If everyone is posting to just one subforum, do you move forum threads around, so there are no bare spots on your subforums and it looks as if all subforums are well used?

No I would not unless the thread was posted in the wrong spot. If this is happening to you, you could either post in those sections or hire a paid poster to concentrate on those areas.

I personally would not unless they were in the wrong spot.

Don't you think you could mess up your SEO with that type of thread move? That would not help your forum any.

When the thread is out of line with the category, it should be moved at once so the others will not follow. If there are many threads that are out not in consonance with the category, the forum will be in chaos. Isn’t it confusing to see a thread that doesn’t belong to the specific board? But I don’t consider that a violation of any rule because it is good content, that is if it is not a spam or something that is out of line.
