When I first started my forum, I was constantly involved in it, making dozens of daily posts, promoting and advertising. It became a full time job, taking away from every other part of my life. Time being what it is, there was only so much I could do before I had to return to my regular work and since then the forum has gotten less of my attention.
Now I am involved in wholly other activites which relate very little to my own forum. It's not as if they are compatible. And, I would love it if they were.
I'm struggling to stay interested in the forum. As it is going, I could just as easily shut down my forum and not miss it. Though we get regular forum posts, so it's not like the forum is inactive. I just don't feel involved in the forum anymore. There is no excitement, not to mention no time. I am not sure how to fix this situation so that I can get plugged back into the forum so that it correlates with my current projects now.

In this situation I believe there is 1 perfect option available and that would be selling.
You say you have no interest anymore and it's far better than just shutting it down, that way the forum can continue and you make some money from time invested. Seems like a win win.
That is also what I would do in that situation.
