How to Decrease Your Websites Bounce Rate?

Bounce with it! Your websites bounce rate is an obvious indicator of how interesting and appealing your website and its content is to its visitors. The higher your bounce rate, the less people are finding your site or its content valuable and interesting to them or is perhaps a sign that you don't have enough content to keep people hanging around longing enough! And Google doesn't like that, it likes sites that have a very low bounce rate which shows that the site has content on it that people find useful and interesting to them. Useful and interesting enough to hang around and keep reading or using all that amazing content that you have be it blog posts, videos, visuals, reviews, guides or whatever.

But if you think you have a great looking site, and it has lots of great content on it which you've worked long and hard on, but your bounce rate is high, what can you do about that? What can be done to safely decrease your bounce rate on your website?
How to Decrease Your Websites Bounce Rate?
There are several very obvious reasons why you would want to. The first would be because a lower bounce rate can have an effect on your ranking positions. It's something that's taken into consideration by Google when deciding on how to rank your site. The other reason is because it can help you attract more clients or advertisers for your site as well. Nobody wants to advertise on a website that has a high bounce rate because it's likely it wont have very good rankings and the traffic wont convert much anyway. Also it can help when you come to sell your website as well. If your website has a low bounce rate, that can be very appealing to a prospective interested buyer and can even be the deciding factor that swings the sale for you.

So what can you do to decrease your websites bounce rate?
How can you make people hang around
What tips and tricks are good for that?

The most obvious answer to this is to improve your website and its content altogether. To make it better by revising it thoroughly. You can have an article that's 2000 words in length but if it's all mostly filler content that doesn't really tell people anything new they didn't already know then they're not going to likely hang around and read your other articles too!

The other method to improving your websites bounce rate is to buy website traffic for it. This is actually a long used method for doing so. But not just any ordinary traffic but traffic that has a low bounce rate. That's not always easy getting because the lowest bounce rate traffic is usually going to be targeted traffic that is interested in your site. Nobody that is interested in anything your site says or offers is going to hang around long. Say you have a website about SEO services and you get a visitor looking for puppy training tips. They are going to exit your site quicker than a quick brown fox!

So one has to find a good source of low bounce rate traffic for their site that comes from a good provider and is guaranteed to lower the bounce rate of that website when used over a long period of time. You can get some of those very low bounce traffic services here on SEOClerks from the website traffic category or with this search. Sorted by top rated service, you can find some great traffic services for very reasonable prices that can go on to decrease your bounce rate and make your site look much more popular.

What do you think about this? Do you think it's ethical to buy website traffic with a low bounce rate to decrease your websites bounce rate ratio?

What other ways or methods are there are decreasing your bounce rate?

Thanks!

Any website owner has to aim to increase conversion rates, and also decrease bounce rates. There are various ways to do this. Primarily, one needs to make sure that the site is rich in content, not filler content, but content that is fresh, informative and valuable to clients. The site needs to be able to load quickly so as to encourage users to remain on it. So ideally no pop ups! Easy navigation is greatly recommended. Attractive meta descriptions and seeing that there is an effective call to action are also great ways to achieve the goal of low bounce rates.

Content is the king. Therefore, if you want to decrease your bounce rate you need to have unique, original, useful, and interesting contents. SEO helps in bringing traffic and increasing your search engine rank, however, you should never write for search engines.
Second important point is website load speed. If the website takes a long time to load, visitors will immediately leave your page.

What do you mean by updating the contents of your website? Is it re-writing the article or uploading new articles? From my standpoint it is the uploading of fresh contents that matters with SEO but I know that the bounce rate is another issue. I am asking the update because it is not easy to re-write articles and for me it is better to remove the old article and upload a new one that is with high quality.

Updating contents on website means you publish new posts. If your website does not have any posts that were published recently, you will lose traffic. Your subscribers will stop visiting your website because there is nothing new. You will also lose search engine visitors because your website will be down ranked.
Updating old contents means you are adding relevant information and removing irrelevant information on your old contents. You are also tweaking the title and subtitles for better keywords, building backlinks for website pages etc.

To lower bounce rates on my website i usually link some relevant keywords within my posts to other posts on my website, so when visitors visitng more pages on your website, it automatically reduce bounce rates. For example if visitor find some of your articles on Google search and visit your website, then during same visit open another 3, 4, 5, pages or posts and engage on them by reading, it will drastically reduce bounce rate. If you decide to buy some traffic for your website, make sure it will provide "low bounce rate traffic"! Other traffic would probably only increase it higher then it was before.

I have some suggestion to reduce bounce rate of your website.

Firstly, update your outdate content which you have create in 2000 but now 2016. And do not use popups for your website. It should be awful and very annoying for user.
Translate your site for international traffic, then they will understand all your content by own languages. And traffic will spend more time if they feel convenient to understand.
Should fix the all broken link, many of broken link will cause for visitors bad experience about your site.
And another important part is site speed. If your site speed poor, visitors may unwilling to visit to your site in several content.

Finally if visitors will visit to your several content and if they stay long, your bounce rate will reduce must.

So, take all necessary steps for your site to make more user friendly.

Updating contents also reduce your bounce rate. When you update, you receive more visits. When more people visit your website and interact with your website, by clicking other articles or leaving comments, your bounce rate will automatically reduce. having quizzed puzzles also reduces bounce rate substantially.
