Two councils welcome being taken out of special measures after improvements in how they run their schools. The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development offers learning and development support, services and resources for all, from birth through to adulthood. To support the first years of a child’s life, the Department provides resources and manages legislation for child care, kindergarten and the health and development of babies and young children.
