Keyword Research Short and LongTail Terms. Step 1
I will research up to 3 keyword ideas, your website + 4 competitors. This is a time consuming process that requires analyzing a lot of data. Though anyone can use google planner, there are other methods as well in finding the best terms to go after for SEO purposes or Pay Per Click Purposes.
I take your main site plus up to 3 keyword ideas that you have and I can figure out up to 4 competitors and find the best set of keywords possible. The final outcome is put into an excel spread sheet and I grab data from Google Planner to include:
- Monthly Search Volume (I can narrow this down to a localized area, or worldwide)
- Cost Per Click
- Ad Group - this is organized by google planner, however it helps to see as they give even more ideas on keywords.
Plus, you get to see a side by side comparison on your competitors, what they are ranking for which usually has even more keyword ideas.
As a small bonus, I will give you some ideas on how to apply these results to your site for more organic traffic.
